Junior Tech Advisor - Maternity Cover

We are looking for a driven Junior Tech Advisor to join our team of dedicated employees in Munich. As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, The Trade Council of Denmark in Germany facilitates knowledge exchange, partnerships between Denmark and Germany and assists Danish companies with export and promotion services.

Located at the Danish Consulate General in Munich the Junior Tech Advisor will be working closely with stakeholders from both Denmark and Germany and be part of a dynamic workplace with a good work-life balance and plenty of opportunity for competence development.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities 

  • Assist in the conceptualization and implementation of go-to-market strategies. Develop and deliver German market intelligence to Danish companies.
  • Support activities to foster Danish-German economic relationships within digitalization and tech related fields, such as GovTech, CyberTech, AI and Robotics. 
  • Follow industry trends and market dynamics closely to identify opportunities for initiatives and collaboration points.
  • Identify suitable partners, and expand your local network in Germany to engage in discussions on potential Danish-German synergies.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of events, workshops, and delegations to and from Denmark.

 

Your profile:

  • Strategic, commercial and innovative mind-set.
  • An ability to work independently as well as in teams.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, politics, IT or other related fields.
  • Interest in technology trends and the German tech ecosystem.
  • First experience and knowledge of tech related fields, such as digitalization, robotics, AI or similar is a plus.
  • Ability to process complex issues analytically and present them in a structured way.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop a network of lasting business relationships.
  • Fluency in German and English. Language skills in Danish are a plus. 

 

Employment conditions:

  • Danish work culture, flat hierarchies and a good work-life-balance.
  • We offer a one-year maternity leave cover contract with the possibility of extension.
  • Standard working hours are 37 hours per week including a 30-minute lunch break. 
  • You will be entitled to 25 days of paid vacation per year.
  • Your salary will reflect your qualifications and relevant experience.
  • The employment is subject to a security check by the Danish authorities.

As soon as possible.
